Hello, another clueless commenter from ProjectComment here! I've not really critiqued any abstract either (in fact I draw realism myself) so I'll give this my best shot.
I like the use of colours and I think it's a good range, but I do also think that there could be a slight increase in the value range. I do see quite a few really dark spots but they aren't really balanced out (to my eyes at least) with a lot of very light spots. I feel as if a lot of the colours would just be in the dull grey sort of range and I think that could be improved a bit perhaps? I think adding in some focal points could be a good idea too. You have a few large circles in the bottom left corner and I think they could make a good focal point more towards the centre or the points at the 'rule of thirds' intersections. Otherwise I don't really have much to say I'm afraid

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how to critique abstract art (are you even supposed to know how, really?Β Β ) but I'll give it a go anyway.
I like the use of conflicting red and green, and I particularly like the hints of magenta added in throughout. I think the colors overall are well-chosen, actually.
You said in one of the comments that this is supposed to be "sadness, anger, fear, and envy, all at once." I feel like you could get the impression of these particular emotions across a bit better if the picture had more form. Not that it has to look like Something, necessarily, but more like it could be Anything. The way it is now, it looks to me more like just...chaos.

This particular Nightmare Abstract that I made digitally is a form of expression, mainly to express feelings of sadness, anger, fear, and envy, all at once. It took me about ten to fifteen minutes to make.

My brother and law had a lot of infidelity and trust issues with my sister and signed up for a transexual site online because he was on drugs and couldn't think straight and drank. Then early one morning he and my sister run out of gas in Lexington and get into a big fight. Next thing my sister knows my brother in-law decides he doesn't want to live anymore and throws himself onto the path of a truck and kills himself.
