I have ever wanted to do this drawing, but I've always been taken by other things.This is a scene from InuYasha Final Act, I don't remember the episode, but is at the end, when InuYasha become a demon and fights with sesshomaru.
Then Kagome falls and Inuyasha catch her as usual, and returns normal. I absolutely love that scene!
I I've always liked the way he takes care of her, I found it very cute, and It's one of the million things I like about InuYasha.
He will always be there to catch Kagome.

I love inuyasha and kagome together. These two were born to love one another forever. Soulmates always and forever! I love to see new artwork being done on these two. I see children in their future as well. Hope my comment please you. I hope you have all seasons of inuyasha and movies on dvd.

I agree with you! It's the million little things over the episodes that InuYasha shows and does for Kagome that mean everything for the storyline. Some people just don't clue in when it's not flashing neon lights in their faces... This moment was such a tender one and you captured the stilled-motion beautifully!

Those are the moments that I loved the most, and you are right!
Although there haven't been huge demonstrations of affection between InuYasha and Kagome, like kisses and cuddles (I mean as often there have been between him and Kikyo instead)...I think that those important little gestures have been essentials to their gradual approach.
I have always found those gestures, in their own way, very romantics.

I think it was ok for Kikyou to get a little more visible confirmations of their once relationship from InuYasha just because it wasn't meant to be and also she didn't have those romances before she died, so at least this way she can be in rest and know that her life wasn't a waste. Not to mention InuYasha is a very shy man (thanks to all his horrible past experiences from people) so any public display is HUGE. I also think that where the series left off was only the beginning of InuYasha and Kagome's relationship. They had the really difficult task of destroying Naraku that took up almost all of their concentration and they STILL made a deep connection with each other, so you can only imagine the growth in InuYasha's confidence and feelings of acceptance when he can fully notice his new life when Kagome stays. This is what I love about this manga/anime. The setting isn't real but the romance emotions and responses that the characters go through are. Life is not like movies or hollywood. Some fans (mostly ones who don't dissect the art behind it) really need to look at the big picture. Anyways…..(lol) your piece really showcased that moment. A moment in the storyline that can really go unnoticed, but you highlighted it in such a graceful and respectful way for my favourite couple! I hope I'll get to see more InuYasha/Kagome drawings from you in the future!

You are a really deep person and what you've wrote made me think.
I agree with you about Kikyo, even if not completely.
Among the many things I've loved about InuYasha was the way in which the characters have grown throughout the series. First of all,InuYasha and Kagome, him learning to have confidence in friends and to be accepted as it had never been as child and she becoming a really courageous woman. Also Kikyo is definitely among those in which the change is noticed more, starting when she was just resurrected and was full of hatred and resentment, until her last moment, when she died with serenity and love in her man's arms. I think that their love has been one of the most sad I've ever seen.
Despite this, however, I've never been able to like her character. For the most part of the series, her actions were dictated more by resentment of her own destiny than by love (see, for example, when she tried to bring InuYasha with her in the grave, or when she used him to test her theories about Naraku ). And so, despite I understood them, I've never liked those moments between her and InuYasha and I still felt annoyed of her love contaminated by hate.
I find what you said about InuYasha and Kagome very deep, you made me move because I've had in mind all the things they've passed through to be together and I think you're absolutely right about their relationship.
I feel honored that you understand so deeply my drawing, that I don't even know how to explain my gratitude. Thank you very much for your words
