Oh not so long...just one week...
because I wanted to find two spirals that matched quite well...
my being late was due to my work and a lack of free time

Huge size/high render time, or lots of post processing...? Or...?

Well, when creating an image, I spend a lot of time at searching for the good Coloring Algorithm (I create a lot of images with the same formula but different OCAs). I render all the images at high-res and I stare at them to choose the best one.
Then I do care a lot for the Palette (I love this part).
In the end it takes me a great amount of time at looking for the right spot (zooming/unzooming)...the best way to "frame" the image before "shooting".
In UF, rendering time is normally within 20 minutes!!!
BTW: as I learnt at the courses it's better to leave one fractal for some time and then go back to work on it...something trivial can turn into an awesome image

Yes, UF is way faster than Apo, won't even mention the big I, got to love it for that.

Grazie Sergio, ultimamente sto creando un po' poco...anche perchΓ© ho provato a seguire un corso su APO e ora ci sarebbe il seguito dal 1Β° Maggio...
Un po' stancante ma volevo capire qualcosina in piΓΉ su come usare APO.
Te tutto OK? ...Γ¨ da un po' che non vedo tue creazioni!!!

Si, il fatto Γ¨ che sono impallinato con terragen sui paesaggi virtuali 3D... sono ben piΓΉ lunghi - mediamente - da costruire rispetto ai frattali, quindi ne preparo pochi e non resta tempo per molto altro. PerΓ² dopo diversi mesi di applicazione ho notato qualche risultato decente. Li posto su renderosity, dove c'Γ¨ una piccola comunitΓ che ci lavora (qui su dA sono praticamente inesistenti).
Quanto ad Apo, sono anni che ci sto pensando anche io, ma non ho ancora preso l'avvio! Ma prima o poi...
