What did you make your mask of? If paper mache, what kind of paper did you use?

Hey my mask is mostly made out of paper with cast (?) on top of it * sorry I dunno how to call it in English*
It's starting to look like something haha. Still have a lot of work to do! But I hope it turns out alright
