Absol: Ruler of Earth

Yes, my wood anatomy doll thing likes to cuddle with Absol

Dat mane, oh boy that took a while. But, its so SOFT and FLUFFY!
That's because I used this amazingly soft yarn that I got a while ago, it's made from something involving bamboo and it's
AMAZING and I suggest getting it.

So here's absol! A bit about why I made him... well, Absol is definitely up there as one of my favorite pokemon of
all time! Along with Luxray and Weavile, I think. I only saw the movie with Absol once, but I keep wishing I could see
it again. And there's that new Mega Evolution thing. Also, I realized that my submissions were getting REALLY repetitive
as far as the design of the dolls was going. All of them had the same peanut-squash body with stick arms and feet
and I decided to make something else this time! An actual quadrupedal canine-y body for my favorite pokemon. c:
It took a lot more time and experimentation, but I'm really happy with how it came out. Especially that it can sit
like that Just put him in place and he'll stay that way- there's no wire armature or anything, just fluff.
As for the mane, there was a lot of experimenting and re-doing, too. At first I did the same method as I used for
Articuno's chest feathers, but decided it didn't look NEARLY fluffy enough or feel nearly soft enough.
Thus, lots of mindless latch-hooking
That's alright though, I had Supernatural to entertain me.
Also, as you can see, I decided to use my denim jacket as a background instead of a white background, because
of Absol's white fur color. Good choice, bad choice? What do you think?
