I love fantasy characters, and drawing aquatic scenes, so this seemed like the perfect one for me to enter. I hope that Gydian's owner likes what I've drawn.

Very nice drawing! The pose is great, but I feel like the water could have been rendered a little bit more darker towards the bottom, so it doesn't feel as if it's one flat color. The sky looks good though, as does the texture on the skin.

thanks - yeah I agree on the water. I think I made it far too subtle, which in this case backfired on me. It was a contest entry and hardly anyone voted for it XD
mind you, the other entries were pretty amazing. *_*
