Thema/Buttercup roleplay part one
A deep huff escaped the hyena's maw as she sat in boredom. Her brown gaze would scan her surroundings, still used to the never ending danger of her home land. But alas, there was nothing to fear here. They were all friends right? Everything was butterflies and rainbows until you die of old age instead of the constant thrill of adrenaline until you die in a fight of honor and glory. Those things she missed, and wouldn't see again. Shaking her head quickly, she'd try to abuse the memory out of her head. This was her new home now, and she needed to stop comparing it. Otherwise, she'd be hating everything the rest of her life and forget what happiness felt like. No. But if she forgot, she'd become pathetic. Like Ama. Ama will grow up soft and bouncy. Thema/Buttercup part 2
Thema nodded as Buttercup began to clarify the spotted hyena's request. Her ear would flick in slight discomfort as the wind began to blow. The cold was getting to her again. She just wasn't used to it. She was used to a hot breeze, and needing to sit in the shade to cool off. As of lately, she was sitting in the sun to warm up like some reptilian. Buttercup said the word 'human' and Thema didn't like it. She should've guessed that's what the small canine was going to talk about. After all, the spotted hyena had made a personal attack on Buttercup by questioning the small canine if she was a pet. Her collar also claimed so. Thema had seen collars before. On domestic dogs that sometimes chased animals away from man settlements or homes mostly. Though there were occasional hyenas that disappeared for a while and then returned with a colla
