I read in the Transformers wiki that Optimus will come back in the 26th episode of Robots in disguise.

Uh...I looked at that episode. And NOBODY gave a verbal confirmation that he was back. So for all we know, he's still in that stupid "not dead, not alive" state.

In the first three episodes of Robots in Disguise, Optimus mentions how "The Universe has a plan for me." And that he isn't really alive but he isn't really dead.Β
I can bet money that by the end of the series, he will be making his big return.Β

Well...I've been told that he is indeed coming back, and I mean as in not part of Primus. Maybe it'll be at the end of the first season, or maybe early in the second season. So there is a tiny spark of hope in me. But I don't know how long it can last, considering Hasbro lost my trust.

Oh okay! So I was looking at Hasbro's up and coming toy line and I found a new toy, in addition to the warrior class rid2015 Optimus coming later in 2015 called "Mega Optimus Prime"
He looks like a Robots in Disguise Optimus 2.0 to be honest, and seeing how they dropped the ball with rescue bots ((when they released the dino-mode toys like 6 months before the show aired the episodes)) I think tat's Optimus' new form for Robots in Disguise. I think that that is the "plan" the universe has for him and I AM SO READY
