Description
Though it was a whole lot of fun attempting to draw Squirmly in different art forms, it was also difficult & time-consuming.
But I may do this again someday whenever I'm not busy with anything. My top favorite artstyles were Ren & Stimpy, Ed Edd n' Eddy, Blue's Clues, & DEFINITELY the Anime style.
Does anyone have any favorite artstyles you like? (...excluding mine lol)

Probably some preferred art styles of mine come from Craig McCracken and Hanna Barbera, some Japanese styles and the UPA art style!

I can definitely see all the styles you've mention, especially the UPA.
You know, there's something about UPA that pleases my mind, & cure my soul. And that's how visually simple everything looks in comparison to other styles. The backgrounds, the colors, the body proportions of characters, & the limited animation.
UPA animation is one of those styles that inspired me to improve. But I actually went for the more cartoony route. Hehehe.

Same here, there's a very nostalgic vibe to the style of UPA. Agreed, I feel like the minimalism in background and the dull but vibrant colours... actually just the minimalism in general just gives it so much more charm. Not to mention some key styles such as Hanna Barbera pretty much derived themselves from this style!
Ayy glad to hear it played a key role in your improvement, the geometric backgrounds that a lot of your artworks currently have definitely show some of the inspirations! Yeah your current artstyle is incredibly reminiscent of 90s cartoons haha
