That's the rowan I saved from my grandma's house's yard (yup, the very same one I had with me travelling on bus, as in here: www.deviantart.com/thestarligh… and going through the city to home. What? Trees can be passengers too! lol), it may never end up becoming a bow but at least I got to see how the wood is split by traditional means and here wanted to share with you since found this process compilation lying in my old files, though it's been ages I've last been at bow workshop or even done archery, sadly. It's the bow-workshop instructor doing it for me.
