Hm...interesting concept. It' sstill a form of identity death, but stil intriguing. You may have created a new trope here!

Well, thank you! I know Identity Death isn't everyone's cup of tea, but personally (in terms of fantasy fulfillment) it's something I've always enjoyed.
It's awesome to be able to be appreciated for the quality of the writing, even if someone doesn't necessarily like what they read.

First of all, loads of kudos for a pretty damn unique take on the whole "TF remote" concept.
Secondly nice touch with how it's a different number pre and post tf. Not many would've thought to include that factor. I also really like how the random person's lot in life was so drastically improved. Sure, it's dickish changing people willy-nilly without their consent (even if they and everyone but you are unaware of said change), but for it to work out so spectacularly in her favor, I think a bit of wiggle room's allowable here.
I'm curious, what would happen if the remote wielder in his efforts at improving Brianna's number, made her unimprovable and uninterested in him anymore? Do you think he'd be bitter or would the universal changes with it like, tweak it so he either forgot she'd ever been into him or that he was happy with her lot in life?
Lastly, when Brian mentions the guy being replaced with... that term, was he saying so cause in his moment of stress he was thinking IQ meant it's traditional meaning? Or was he pretty much showing what he thought of most women or at least most blonde women?

I imagine it was stress and guilt hitting him all at once, rather than an indication on his (conscious) thoughts about women. He was freaking out because he thought he killed somebody, and his buddy was taking it in such a nonchalant manner, so he said what came to mind without thinking - although, I like to imagine he had some subconscious prejudices, making his comeuppance all the more satisfying.
Regarding Brianna's number - the wielder doesn't forget, so if he managed to raise Brianna's number to the point where she was unchangeable and she decided to drop his ass? Like anything else, it would depend on the circumstances. Knowing most guys? He'd likely be bitter, but once she's above a 50, there's very little he could do (at least fantasy/sci-fi technology wise).
And thanks for the kudos!

Thanks! Even though it's a personal favorite trope, the TF remote has been done to death. It's nice to be able to be appreciated for putting a different spin on it.

Very interesting setup and good execution. Love it!
I'm surprised he didn't see that coming, but I suppose he simply wasn't genre savy
