This was going to just be a sketch, but naaaah.I finished playing Abe's Oddysee (New n' Tasty) recently, and gosh I loved it. I remember playing the original Abe's Oddysee as a wee tot at my grandparents' house. I always thought it was a very bizarre game right from the start, but in a fun and interesting way. The designs for the residents of Oddworld are amazing and creepy; I always adored the Sligs with their mechanical legs and cthulu-y faces, and the terrifying paramites with their gross hand heads. Awesome.

Omf, me too. As a kid, I had this habit of playing games until I got stuck or scared, then restarting from the very beginning. Abe's Oddysee was no exception.

The very same when i played metroid fusion. Every time i got to a boss fight, i had to get some one to do it for me.

You play Oddworld?? OMG. Much's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath on XBox original was a huge part of my childhood. I'm gonna guess though that you probably were introduced by the more recent steam versions.
it's sad that the next game that was being made was cancelled when the original production team disbanded (caused by none other than the economical recession), but it's great we're getting hd remasters and extended content... just not NEW content...

I was pretty young when I first started playing them. My Grandfather was a big gamer and owned both Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus (he even gave the first game to me so I could play it at home). I've never gotten a chance to play Stranger's Wrath or Munch's Oddysee since I never owned an original Xbox, but I definitely hope I get a chance to get all of them on Steam sometime.

If you happen to have a playstation 3 then it's best to get the HD versions from the online store. the remastered munch's oddysee blows my brains. ironic how none have been made for xbox 360, and so very unfortunate for me.Β you can also get stranger's wrath as a mobile game- letting you know in case you'd want to take it with you. a warning, though: strangers wrath is intense and hard as balls.
i got the oddworld game pack for christmas and it has all of the games. i think an hd version of munch's oddysee is now being sold on steam separate from the pack, though. i'll have to look into it.

Yeah, he always used to have old games like Warcraft II and Command n' Conquer. I really enjoyed looking through his collection and discovering new and strange games (he even had a Sabrina the Teenage Witch game in there for some reason XD). I wonder if he still has them all...?
