Description Oil on board 30x40 cm. Old house from south Serbia. I have been there for some painters meeting. May not be quite finished, but I already gave it as a gift to my friend, a Serb refugee from Bosnia. The land here is flat, one big plane. It may be that this reminds him of his home.

Hvala na komentaru, kuca je iz okoline Knjazevca, bio sam na likovnoj koloniji u Chustici, tamo ima 40 napustenih sela, ne znas koje je lepse, neko bi to trebao makar da fotografise.

Nazalost, kod Knjazevca gde je snimljena ova kuca ima 40 sela napustenih, prosecno po 20 ovakvih i slicnih kuca, pa i vise! Da ne spomenemo druge opstine! Neverovatna tuzna lepota igre vremenskih uslova po tim nezasticenim simbolima drustva, porodice... Moja izlozba se zove Bela Kuga. I niko je kod nas ne voli bas mnogo, zato sam se prikazao ovde i sada imam komentara da ima slicnih pojava na puno neocekivanih mesta!

Oh this is just beautiful! The colours make it look so homely even though this might be an abandoned house. It looks like a painting that should be framed and hung up on a wall in the bedroom. Great work!

That was a lovely thing of you to do.

Dilapidated homes like this are a little sad, but at the same time they have this neat sense of age and mystery to them.

I really like how you just left the heavily shaded and dark areas under the house and inside the windows solid and dark. it almost looks like watercolours there.

It is beautiful building, I did not resist to detail it, but still, the painting is not finished, I think it will never be! Roof tiles need light, shadow on front need more graduations and tree on left is not finished!
