Gracias Gian! este trabajo fue bastante ocasional e improvisado la verdad.. al obtener un acabado algo decente, decidi compartirlo también ^^

mmm glad to hear that! because the colors here are the clue!!! yeah look, spiking designer to designer. 
I was creating a preview of my last brushes set (syanart-shop.blogspot.com.es/2…
) in 1920x1080, when finished. I was like, ok I've to test this with some render, and no even rendered, put there firefly HD screenshot.
with a layer mask started to render firefly but not currently! then, duplicated the background above firefly, set in "soft light" and put black and white to everything. and then 5 more color adjustments = 2 gradient mask, exposition, color balance, levels. and wualla! here you see the final image.  but everything, started from here. dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15… you can easly see the background pattern ^^

yes i saw the background it's great
and it's a good idea the result of coloring using gradient map and other adjustment  layers is always fantastic and it's better than coloring with a brush with blend mode set to overlay soft light and others
