Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present: A Half-Life OC sheet for my first (and admitedly still kinda fondest) OC Charlie.Yes, I instantly did this when I got home today (hence the kinda hasty doodle style), for this... HAD to be done after I saw this beautiful blank sheet. ^^

(I can't stop being happy and hyper about this and how happy xeno - again - manages to make me with her stuff.
)I know that the character used here is... Special... And admittedly cheesy. In my defense: I have been much younger when I came up with him (and some of my older watchers may even remember some of the goofy drawings of him I posted back then XD). Cheesy or not, I still love him. He is my my clueless little nerd baby!

Well, I think if those would happen, Charlie would try to get along with hash, even though he is technically from the enemy faction. After all, If Charlie would see/know that he is acting good towards citizens, he would be quite impressed, and probably even get interested in finding out what made him behave the way he does. ^^

Its realy simple! A happy population means no Riots!
Because of this City 8 is realy special! Im sure the Resistance got many members from all the Metro Cops who see themselves as higher beings than citizens.
I dont know if Charlie would even see him doing that stuff, since City 8 is in Poland.
And Hash has a bit of a problem with Resistance members!
Im sure he would take him captive!....or Hash would try to hunt him down and runs into a lot of Resistance members (as the only combine unit that got into White Forest, maybe he followed the advisors trough a broken window) and would be taken captive, since hes an armed part of the combine.
One thing i would like to know if HECU still fights the Combine Units in North America.

Charlie is soo adorable and thanks so much, i may have gotten a little red in the face. And your work is quite splendid too. Oh one thing that cracked me up was that he is friends with Dr. Magnusson. It takes allot for someone to handle Magnussun's "rough Exterior" Lol. And once again Charlie is adorable.

OMG I made you blush! I feel weirdly successful now! (I usually rather make people cringe when looking at my scary stuff XD) Ironically thinking about me making you blush makes me blush now XD
I'm really glad you find Charlie adorable. He kinda is meant to be tbh. I wanted a character who is no awesome hero type, but someone with flaws and weaknesses to balance his intelligence. ^^
Him being friends with Magnusson is actually 'very Charlie'.
When I first got into the HL universe, I only had the first game, and I had this innocent, childish idea of an OC who was young and smart, yet treated either like a child or like a saint by most. So in his background story I explaind that he picked his mentor for being the only person who treatd him equally and challenged him.
When I eventually got to HL2 and it's episodes, I instantly grew to love Magnusson's character and felt like he would have been the perfect tutor for HL1 Charlie, so I edited his backstory, so that particular person would be Magnusson.
...Also Charlie admitedly has a weakness for difficult cases. I always pictured him hanging out with the geeks and weirdos, that his best friends at Black Mesa were outsiders and those with difficulties as well.
He also ends up with a pet snark sitting on his shoulder, and during the events of the first game adopts a child Vortigaunt without even speaking their language (at that point.) So, yeah... he kinda is strangely friendly I guess. XD

Strangely Friendly? I think adorable friendly. I can see myself trying to domesticate Antlion Guardians. lol, or any creature, and yes I agree Snarks are quite cute. And I like Magnusson's character he honestly cracks me up and whenever I think of him all I hear is his voice in my head LoL. And I do feel that Magnusson would be one of the few scientists around that would treat Charlie Like he was an equal.
