Design Notes } :  Woolly's head, neck and rump tend to be lighter in warm weather, and get darker, more black in cold. His eyes glint with playful light, and he always appears to be smiling. His whiskers are crystallize white with frost. Woolly likes to run, dance, and undulates smoothly and rapidly. He is often mistook for a caterpillar, albeit a bit larger in size.

Despite all of natures toil
The first frost froze the ancient soil
Dancing and playing, with no clear trail
Within it's wake, a crystal veil
Till across the land came a golden hue
Turning once ice into misty dew
Salvation from a sinking chill
Freeing the land from a wintry still
So ice trickles down past roots grown deep
Waiting once more for the sun to sleep
