"The reason some of the animals in the Pridelands look at you the way they do, is well...you share some physical similarities with your late great-great uncle, Taka..."Kion started to explain to his son. "But why does that matter? Who was this lion anyway and why haven't I heard of him before?" Takasi asked his father. "You have heard of him, he was a part of one of your lessons. Known as Scar." Kion answered. "What? S-S-Scar...you mean I...look like...the Pridelands Dark Scar? The same lion that killed his brother Mufasa, tried killing grandpa Simba, let the hyenas reign free breaking every law and nearly destroyed the kingdom he stole!?" Takasi exclaimed "And you named me after him!?". Kion could see the horror, worry and hurt in his son's eyes "Not exactly, look I know how hard this must be. I'm sorry son-" The golden lion tried to explain but was interrupted. "How could you possibly know? I-I'm going to be sick... I just need some time to process this, please...". It all became so clear to Takasi, the reason he was given those looks of horror, disgust, mistrust, the whispers...the animals of his Aunt's kingdom were haunted by a vision of the past. What if this young lion was to be treated like an enemy every time he came near the Pridelands or worse. What if he turned out to be just like the tyrant, Scar. A million thoughts were racing through the orange lion's mind. He sat there horrified and much like the other animals, haunted by the past.
