Guys, I made a thing.For ~mouldyCat 's Witch collab.
I was originally tempted to put Pen in apocalyptic black trench, all tattered and whatnot, but I thought I'd be more creative and gave her this not-good-not-evil get-up with nods to her usual style. Super super fun.

It's all about the inspiration. Probably helps that I'm writing a screenplay based on Pen for my senior thesis project. So I'm up to my eyeballs in her story and setting and environment. It is inescapable.

man that skirt is to die for. I love it when things keep their shape but lso get a bit of a grungy gradient towards the bottom. You have hit my secret epic..

This is going to sound like I read waaaay too much into the doll but I wanted the jacket to reflect Pen's character. She occupies this gray area between being a good guy and being a bad guy. I'm glad you like the gradient; it was a bitch to pixel.

That's the point of character design, things like colours used in a costume can subtly represent characteristics. So it's not getting too into it at all. If it is I'm way tooo into it XD

I rushed the broom, haha. I was trying to finish this before I had to go to class. I might go back and fix some twiggies on the broom, I'm not totally happy with it as is.
