The real Thomas has a round whistle and a proper tail lamp ( ͡° ʖ ͡°)Yeah, if you can't tell i'm not a fan of this new Thomas. The lighter blue is nice, and so are the windows but besides that it's just kind of a bad model IMO. GLYNN ON THE OTHER HAND IS BRILLIANT!

You do realise that there is a significant difference between parody and imitation.
You say you are making these jokes as a sort of parody of certain members of the community when frankly, you're doing such a poor job of it that you're literally just doing the same thing.
It makes you look like a real asshole and not even a funny one. It's crap like this from people like you (not the people you're trying to combat) that make it just not worth it for the people who actually produced the thing you say you prefer as well as the "poor" (lmao @ the benchmark for poor) model you like to compare it to.

Ok, first of all. Why? I simply stated that I'm not a fan of the new Thomas model and I prefer the Geoffrey faced one instead. Why exactly is that cause to start problems on my picture? Second of all, who the hell am I trying to imitate or copy? I stated my opinion, that's it. Why should it matter to you whether or not I like a model or post a picture comparing them on my DeviantArt? When I say it's a joke, I just mean it's not meant to be taken seriously. Thirdly, you think I'm trying to be funny by posting this? I'm not. Why are you wasting your time replying to my comment on here and calling me "so edgy" when you could just ignore it? Just who exactly am I trying to combat?

It's not just this picture, it's the others where you decide it's ok to trash other people's work when you clearly couldn't do what they do.
You can't just use the word "joke" as carte blanche to say what the hell you like about people. That's not how life works. As a content creator I feel very strongly about people who do this shit. You said on another picture and I quote you here:

You're not TRYING to imitate or copy anyone, but you are doing it. You said yourself you do this shit in reaction to others doing the opposite, but the fact is you're just becoming as bad as them and part of the problem. Comparisons are never a good idea because even if they're not intended to make someone feel bad about their work, that's what happens. By doing a comparison shot and stating which one prefer you MAKE it a competition, the very thing you said yourself it shouldn't be.
Your level of tact leaves alot to be desired also. Respectfully critique people's work by all means, but if you think what you're doing at the moment is in any way respectful to the content creators then you have alot to learn young man. I don't care what you do or don't like. I do care how you or anyone else chooses to broadcast that to the world. Not that I'd expect you to understand, I doubt you know what it means to put alot of effort into anything significant for the benefit of other people. Maybe if you'd had you'd know that people being careless with their words is no "joke".

What you're saying about what I said on the James picture is fair enough, I can agree that the way I went about that was wrong, but it's been resolved and there's absolutely no reason to continue commenting on the matter. However, I don't understand where this "you couldn't do what they do" bullshit comes in. I don't have to be an experienced modeller to compare two models and say which one I think is better, nor should I be. As a friend of mine recently said, comparison and competition is fine, but not to see which model is best, rather it should be about the creator making something they like and giving everyone else more choices. If I want to put up a picture saying which one I prefer, I will. Considering how much older you clearly assume you are, I figured you'd know that whether you like it or not, people would do this. If not me, then someone else. You can waste your time typing out paragraphs to me all you want, but you won't change the fact that people will compare and make competition. In fact, I'll continue comparing models if I damn well feel like it, because whether I should or shouldn't, this is the internet and I can say just about whatever I want. Not that I will of course, and I definitely won't be blatantly calling peoples stuff shit anymore, but I can. And I know the whole "just because you can doesn't mean you should" stuff too, so don't bother. Now, I asked before and you've ignored the question so I'll ask again. Why are you wasting your time commenting on my DeviantArt picture when you could, I don't know, maybe work on finishing a commission that's nearly 2 years overdue?

Well, I have to say that the bogey for the new Thomas is better than the original one since it's shineh, but the shade of blue is what I don't like on the new one tbh
