Description
Focusing on Lana and her mother, Renarya, both of them have been captured by the evil Black Mermaids and placed in an underwater prison cell. Lana is stuck in human form, and with the entirety of the Black Mermaid Palace shrouded in a magic spell that cuts off magic power from anyone else, Renarya is unable to change her daughter back into a mermaid. Overwhelmed with helplessness, the Pink Mermaid Queen breaks down in tears and cradles her drowning daughter. If these would be Lana's last moments alive, at least her mother would be there for her to comfort her as she slips away.Think of this as a "what could have been" scenario from The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. When Melody was sealed in that underwater cave with a layer of ice, what if the evil Morgana decided to trap Ariel with Melody? Ariel would be in a helpless situation watching her daughter drown and being unable to save her.

*And that is what Yoru hears along with shrieks of wicked laughter echoing throughout the palace prison walls...*

*a dolphin helps yoru swim to the palace prison*

Renarya: I... I'm sorry... I can't do anything! I can't get out and my daughter is drowning too! I can't change her back because my own magic is sealed off! I don't know how you even got here if you're already drowning, but if you don't leave, the Black Mermaids will gut you like a fish!
*She then talks to the dolphin.*
Renarya: Get him either out of here or to the nearest air pocket! Hurry!

*There are distant voices heard.*
???: Someone else is here swimming around?
???: Someone to rescue our prisoners, no doubt.
???: We'll find this intruder and he can join our captives!
Dolphin: *chirps worriedly*

Yoru:*whispers and shakes* w...what should we do dolphin ?

Dolphin: *chirps quickly, as if to suggest that they should just escape and save themselves*
*Except Yoru is aware that the Black Mermaids have two prisoners, one of them being a little girl drowning.*

*The dolphin isn't sure if Yoru can even understand dolphin speech, so instead, it shows Yuri its tail, attempting to tell him that she's actually a mermaid and not a human girl.*

*The dolphin nods. And then Yoru can faintly hear the little girl crying underwater.*

*The dolphin swims back to the prison cell and begins ramming on the thin but tightly secured metal bars. After a few hits, the two walls on both sides of the metal cage begin to crack.*
Renarya: What incredible power... coming from a dolphin... Lana! Hang in there, sweetie! If all goes well, we can get you to an air pocket.
Lana: Glub glub glub... blub...
