Description "But I didn’t call to him, for he gave a sudden intimation that he was content to be alone—he stretched out his arms toward the dark water in a curious way, and, far as I was from him, I could have sworn he was trembling. Involuntarily I glanced seaward—and distinguished nothing except a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock."
-The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Gatsby, looking out across the water to Daisy's place. Aw Gatsby, I love you...

Fitzgerald is one of the most incredible authors I have ever read just because of the way he can manipulate language; if you've never read anything by him I really recommend you do!

I'm not allowed to express my opinions of Fitzgerald (same as Hemmingway's opinions), but that's a really good drawing! ^_^ The water is so cool! My grandparents have a house on the water and that's what the water looks like at night ^___^ (then again.... the light out back of their house is a prison....) <.<

Thank you for witholding your Fitzgerald comments. Glad you like the water! It kind of turned out that way accidentally, but I like it too.

I saw the title of this and I was like "YES THE GREAT GATSBY FTW!" I totally want to reread that this summer. Fitzgerald makes me want to write wonderful things!
