Story based on this idea: www.deviantart.com/pochgh/art/…Simba was making his way through the jungle. Suddenly, several vines slithered out and wrapped themselves around his legs, torso, and muzzle and mouth. He struggled and squirmed, letting out muffled roars, but he couldn't free himself from their grasp. What were they going to do with him?

Thanks! The images gave me a lot to work with, as the expressions are perfect for making him look like he's really struggling. The last image could even look like the vines are dragging him, with the pose and blowing mane. I just wish I knew how to make the vines look more like real vines that are actually in the scene.

I'd say just time and practice. See what works for you and find something you enjoy doing. I do basically all my art on Photoshop but my skills on that go barely beyond linearts and basic filter effects

you're still miles beyond where I am at this point. your ropes and cloth legit looked like ropes and cloth, and i'm sure your vines would as well if you did something similar. but i'm still happy with how these turned out
