sweetiebelle95 on Furaffinity requested either Queen Crysalis or Tempest Shadow from MLP. I went with Tempest Shadow. It was interesting to gag someone who still tries to keep their dignity even with a thick rag over their mouth!My Little Pony, Tempest Shadow, and the original image all belong to Hasbro.

A character that stands tall and proud even with a good gag on is super appealing to me! What can I say? I just love defiance to the last.Β

As someone who's not that interested in My Little Pony, and whose only interactions with it is being a fan of someone on YouTube who reviews said show, I'm gonna be honest here and say that there's something about Tempest Shadow that's always intrigued me the moment I first saw her. Whether it be the design, her character and personality, or whatever else, I always enjoyed seeing her out of most characters from the show...
As for this edit, you did a good job. Honestly, this just gives me food for thought on how she ended up like this... My guess is an alternate timeline where she ends up getting captured by that one rat guy from the movie that squishes her cheeks (Hopefully, you know the scene I'm talking about...).

I unfortunately havenβt seen the movie. I kind of fell out of touch with the series after Season 4, but I still have vaguely kept up and look back on those episodes fondly! Iβm sure your alternate timeline theory has validity to it, though! Thanks for the comment!

Your welcome, and I don't blame you for not seeing the movie; I haven't seen it, either. I only watched a review of it on YouTube. If I'm remembering this right, the rat guy was some 'slaver' (I don't know...) that was there to take away The Mane 6, only to stumble across Tempest when she was confronting the former.
Thing's didn't end well for him when he examined her as such...

I have little knowledge of the events of the film. I'd never even heard of Tempest until I got this request! Do you know what's up with the shattered horn?

According to the MLP Wiki, Tempest lost her horn back in her childhood from an accident with an 'Ursa Minor', whatever that is in the show (I know what it is irl)...
She can still use magic with it, like when she shocked that one rat guy I keep on mentioning, but it's obviously very damaged and can't use much of the same magic as it would usually use if it was intact. In fact, I believe the only reason she's serving the main bad guy of the movie is because he promised to repair her horn.
A dumb idea on her part in hindsight, but I still like her just fine.

Interesting. I remember Ursa Minor causing an issue in an early episode. Didnβt think heβd make a reappearance!
I guess she was desperate, and went to desperate measures.
