Late to comment on this, but this scenario is another classic, and very cute! Who doesn't love pirates?
I have to say, I love how Sandy isn't overly sexualized by you... or maybe she is, sometimes. Either way, most of the time, she's just cute and beautiful because of who she is. The clothing you make for her is pretty tame and not always just there to show off. She just has a good wardrobe and it's adorable. I love her striped trousers here and her shirt, even though we can't see much of it. It looks so cute.

A ripensarci, il tuo design dei personaggi, specie Sandy che finisce sempre in situazioni "terribili" in cui la cacciano la sensibilità dei suoi piedi, mi ricorda della Yenny dei vecchi tempi, creata da Dave Alvarez.

Sì, sono conscio del fatto che alcune tendenze nascano in tenera età. Le chiamavano perversioni, utilizzando un tono sempre degrinatorio.
Il mondo è un po' vecchio su alcuni temi e la tv non aiuta.
Ho fatto questa premessa per indicare che se Melyssa avesse questo tipo di fetish, tendenza o perversione (chiamiamola come ci pare) non ci sarebbe nulla di male.
Semplicmente non le appartiene.

Yenny però è un personaggio che ho scoperto solo in anni recenti. Conoscevo Dave per altri motivi.
Quando ero bimbo i miei cartoni animati preferiti erano i Looney Tunes.
Decisi di diventare un fumettista proprio grazie a loro, alla tenera età di 4 anni.
Iniziai anche a comprare i loro fumetti. C'erano degli autori italiani che scrivevano e disegnavano storie sui Looney Tunes, e in più traducevano le storie dall' estero.
Purtroppo qui in italia quel fumetto non andava molto e quando avevo 10 anni venne cancellato.
C'era Dave Alvarez tra gli autori dei fumetti stranieri, ma io all'epoca non potevo saperlo, dato che purtroppo colui che era a capo del fumetto sembrava essersi dimenticato di riportare con didascalie i nomi degli artisti che partecipavano a questa testata.
Copiai moltissimo i disegni di tutti, anche di Alvarez, e probabilmente qualcosa di lui mi è rimasto dentro.
Poi, a 15 anni, trovai nuovi fumetti tradotti in italiano dei Looney Tunes. In italia stavano stampando una nuova collana abbinata alle uscite di qualche giornale.
Qui c'erano i nomi, e finalmente conobbi davvero Alvarez. Il suo stile mi piacque tantissimo e iniziai a copiarlo. All'epoca, per quanto riguardava Bugs Bunny e compagnia, era il mio disegnatore preferito.
Anni dopo scoprii il personaggio di Yenny.
Più la guardavo e più pensavo "io sto stile l'ho già visto"
E' stato incredibile e paradossale scoprire che era sempre Dave. Mi è anche stato molto utile, perchè non potevo andare avanti a disegnare conigli e paperi, per ciò che avevo in mente di fare.
Dave mi si avvicinava come stile ( per forza, ho copiato lui da quando ero bimbo XD) e poter apprendere da lui come migliorare i corpi femminili è stata una fortuna.
Ho infarinature anche da altri artisti e non mi sono basato solo su Dave per imparare a disenare le donne, però mi è servito molto.
Sì, già che c'ero ho anche inventato qualche gag solleticosa, come ha fatto lui. XD
