ok I have a question
Does Maka not recognize any of her friends' faces? Has she forgotten everyone she knows out of Wonderland somehow? Because she said, "everything here seems familiar."
I'll have to go back, I haven't seen this in a while rip

It's fine
The idea was that once she was in wonderland, it was kind of magically abstract in a sense, meaning that a lot of the previous world is irrelevant. However, she does still interact with the rest of the group in the same way she did before, and this leads to being one of her main motivations, seeing as she recognises her friends, but is unable to put her finger on who they are or where she knows them from. So while she recognises them, once she entered that rabbit hole, she is removed from the real world.
(Note how she refers to Soul by his name before jumping down the rabbit hole, but once she's in wonderland, she will begin to refer to him as "The White Rabbit")
Does that make a little more sense now? Sorry if it was difficult to understand

Take as much time as you need, just don't stop unless you tell us. So many great fan works have stopped midway with the authors disappring.
