Description

Phantom Mario is one of the secondary antagonists in Five Nights at Sonic's 3 .

Shortly after Five Nights at Sonic's 2 , Withered Mario and his friends were sent to a storage unit and remained there until 2027. One night , Mario woke up to find Sonic . Oddly, he was not on the show stage. He wandered through the location until Dr. Eggman revealed himself and stabbed Mario , killing him as his stomach was slashed open. Mario , Yoshi and Tails appeared as spirits to confront Eggman, who was with Salvage Sonic .
Later in the week, Mario, alongside Phantom Tails and Yoshi , attacked Eggman, who attempted to use Salvage Sonic to attack the spirits of his friends, but Salvage Sonic stabbed and killed Eggman instead. When Salvage Sonic was shipped to a new location, the spirits of Mario , Yoshi and Tails followed, haunting the location at night until the place burned down, as the spirits moved on to the afterlife.

Phantom Mario is basically a monochrome version of the Clone Mario, though with a ghost-like texture. His teeth are mostly crooked, and he lacks his blue cape (if he still had his cape, it would be gray). One rabbit ear of his is bent. He has glowing-red eyes within white slits that represent pupils.
In FNaS 3 Reburned Phantom Mario looks the same exept there's a cut on his stomach representing how Mario died.
