I think it's actually gonna be pretty tough to pull off considering I haven't made much comics becore so I might work on something more mainstream to improve a bit before I go into this passion project haha. Wanna make sure it's good

That is actually really nice. You can always develop them through out the story. Give 'em new interests, hobbys, motivations, stuff to do, as well as new clothes and style. That way you keep the comic interesting. :3
