This reminds me of Tim Burton's drawings. It's supposed to be the Scarecrow, isn't it?

While I actually truly like the films of tim Burton and therfor Nightmare before christmas I think this FanArt could be worked out a little more. Maybe it's just the scanner - I know these kind of problems too well xD but that bright whitish area on the right side of the image is kinda out of the flow so to speak. On the other hand it adds some kind of dram to the scene - but I would have preffered something more like....idk branches or spooky eyes...spookey eyes would have underlined the title "Fear" I like how Jack (I guess it's Jack?) seems to come out of the Darkness on the left side of the image also that his coat seems to be woven from dark spider threads.
All in all I unfortunately have to say, that the level of drawing skill doesn't meet my high demands - but that shouldn't bother you that much - I'm only one in a million. Everyone I today adore for their skills might have started like that as well - practice makes perfect

Thank you! Every time I ask someone how to improve they just tell me it's fine. Actually the picture itself is just a pencil sketch. I just was playing with the colors to make it look darker and got this.

Well on how to get rid of the whitish area - print it out and draw something there and then scan it again ^^ or take a photo or whatever way you got this up here
