Description
Why do we love Simba? Not because he has a cool flashy design, or because he's an original species. We love him for his story. It's the story that made him stick with us for so long. Making a character really colorful or making some "original species" with no story doesn't make you creative. To me, a neat story for one character is better than an entire species with no purpose other than to look cool. Try and come up with some cool stories for your characters/species! If you think you aren't any good at it, make the stories with your friends, talk things out. Take an idea and run with it, you never know what it might turn into (:Even character designers for animated movies or video games or so on, know the story to go along with the character and that's what makes it special. What if Mufasa had looked the way he did, but was timid and soft spoken?

I agree with you. =^_^= That is why my character is so plain compared to some of the other things you see. But I do agree with you.

I can agree with this, although I suck at stories and whatnot and my characters have none. XD
I love the shading & your description is great. c:

Oh pfff. A story doesn't have to be big or complex to be good c: I bet you could come up with some neats.
And thank you x3
