i only knew about drizzt after reading The Hunter's Blades Trilogy. never read the others ice wind dale or spider queen.... and seeing him in action in the game: Demonstone push me into drawing him!!^^ he rules!!!Related content

Neither have I; Got tired of his writing style. Descriptive is good to an extent, but he just seems to do it too much.
Anyways, yeah, basically EVERYONE from the Five of Mithral Hall is dead, except Drizzt. Because apparently D&D has fast forwarded Forgotten realms lore 200 years ahead now, so, its quite impossible for anyone else to be alive.

That's an awesome picture! I loved that game; it's one of the few that I actually finished.
If you haven't read the earlier books with Drizzt, they're well worth it. I'd say that they're better than the Hunter's Blades, overall. Not that those are bad, but still...

Eh, I don't know. I like 'Sojourn' a lot. But they're all good. 'Servant of the Shard' is a good one too, even though it doesn't have Drizzt (it's centered around Entreri and Jarlaxle). They've also just recently put out some great graphic novel adaptions of Homeland and Exile.

Just my opinion, but I think the colors are too comic booky to do Drizzt justice. It's a great drawing, just not what I envisioned for a dark elf that's been to hell and back. You really should read all the other books. It's a great tale to know all the shit he's been through. I would think sharper or more harshly done paintings to be more exact of him. He and his weapons are one.
Sorry, just a huge Drizzt Do'Urden fan. Heh. Yes, Salvatore is a big nerd, but so'm I.

yes your right! drizzt did went throught alota shit. actually i didn't plan on doing that BG for him. it was quite spontaneous. i saw this drow painting did by the master Brom and i just though it would look awesome in my. hehe!^^ the whole thing turns out to "soft"... but too late to do anything now.
