Description
Adamaceratops is a genus of large chasmosaurine ceratopsid found in Arcadia. There are at least two species identified. They are closely related to the famous Triceratops, sharing the distinctive keratinous "mask" covering their faces. Called Rhino Drakes in the common tongue, due to their superficial resemblance to rhinos, they are a common sight from beyond the walled settlements of Arcadia.

They are generalist herbivores, feeding on horsetails, ferns, wetland vegetation, fallen fruit, roots and tubers with the use of their parrot like jaws and barbed tongues. Adults are almost exclusively herbivorous, will sometimes dabble in omnivory when the opportunity presents itself. Meat eating is more common in younger individuals, likely for the protein and calcium needed to grow their impressive horns. Hatchlings and adolescents would feed on insects, carrion and small game provided they manage to catch it.

While fearsome and more than capable of defending themselves against threats, they rarely attack humans. They seldom make contact with human settlements and most attacks are from territorial bulls. That said when they do attack, fatalities are likely. Their horns can impale an unfortunate victim, but their beaks are the most dreaded feature capable of biting a human in half. Despite these dangers, the people of Arcadia would still hunt them for their meat, hide and bones. Their osteoderm covered hides are used to make leather armor and their meat is especially delicious around the necks, rumps and tails.

They along with other rhino drakes, share a sort of symbiotic relationship with the many species of Hadrosaurs, called Horse Drakes by the natives. They rely on their nesting colonies, in exchange for mutual protection. The Rhino Drakes protect them from the large predators like tyrannosaurs and megaraptorans, while the Horse Drakes with their sharper senses defend the eggs and young of both.
