Well, well, I finished a drawing! This is of one of my favorite characters from Reaper's Demise with an updated design. Lynn is cocky, arrogant, and rude, but I love her to pieces.
Lynn is a Hunter in the same mercenary order as Amagik and best known for her exceptional control over her flame manipulation. She likes life on the wild side, preferring her motorcycle as a means of travel (as you can see her key on a breakaway necklace) and the occasional alcoholic beverage. Lynn took up mercenary work because she needed the money, but grew to love the line of work and is now one of the best Hunters of the order. Her parents were hunters as well, although "occupational hazards" got the best of both of them. Her mother was the first to go, followed by her father four years later. Because of this, Lynn is the sole caretaker of her younger sister, Saria.
Her best friend and fellow Hunter, Lawrence "Lipshii" Reinhardt, was killed while on a hunt with Amagik three years prior to the events of Reaper's Demise. Lynn never quite got over his death.

..... wow. she's ab solutly stunning! the direction of the shadow and the light source are wonderful and I love the softness you add to them, makes it kinda look like the flame is flickering <333 great design and I loooove the tails and feet <333 your fur is so awesome! D: <333 the neck is so thick though... makes her kinda man-ish. still love the expression and the wild-and-free look about her <333 great job! you've really made leaps and bounds in your art, dajah! I like this chick... there are some similiarities between Harina and her... for example they are both cocky ^_^

Oh, so Harina is cocky? I thought she was "I hate the world" whereas cocky is "the world's got nothing on me."
If it seems I'm asking a lot of questions, it's just because I'm trying to get a grip on her personality for the sketch.

Well... it's like "I hate the world because everyone's so god damn annoying" I guess it's not necessarily cocky so much as... low-profile confidence? hehe my words don't even make any sense XD
Y'know what just stick with cocky, I think that'd be a more fun picture ^_^
And it's okay to ask questions, I know I ask a buttload when I do stuff. I have yet to ask you some as I examine which character I should draw... so indecisive...

I wanna know what pants look like from the back for a 5 tailed character, rofl.
But she's cute. I like her facial expression and how she's holding/summoning the flame.

Ohm that's easy. They have a button on the back, much like the button on the front. They pull the pants up under the tails, then button them over the top of them. Where a zipper is on the front of the pants, there's just an open space for the tails. I could draw it up if you're really interested. Might be useful for your character's clothing in the future.

I am curious how you do it. For my characters, anything that goes above the tail line (At least for single or twin tailed characters this works) as far as bottoms go is much like the elastic waist on underwear. It can't stretch much father than the thickness of a slim leg but most animals (that I can think of anyway) wouldn't really have that thick of a tail, save monitors.
So yeah, if it's no trouble, I'd really like to see that. If you wanted to put something like that in the group, that can go where the base art goes for now. I may edit that category for tutorials since I think bases should act as tuts.
