So, when I get better I will make a digital artwork of this.I don't know why everyone wants to ship Judy x Nick? (This is my opinion!)Judy and Nick seams to me like they were friends or even best friends, but I can't see any romantic moments with them.
Friends are there for their friends, even if you said something mean to them. Same goes to Nick and Judy, when Judy wants to apology for this what she said. And when Nick gave her a hug! It doesn't mean anything. All friends cam hug each other, when they are sad.
I know what you will say now. At the end of the movie. Judy meant she loves Nick, but Nick didn't say anything.
WHATEVER! I still don't agree with that shipping.
Nick is dating Annie
Judy is dating Hare.
They are not wearing any fancy clothes, without of Hare. Hey! He has a crush on Judy and if someone is in love and wants to impress their love interest, then the person will do anything for it.
If don't like it, them don't comment. Same thing how I drew this. I am sick, I am allowed to draw bad in this situation.
However, Annie is wearing her outfit when she isn't working

And yes, I believe that pun at the end of the original film with Nick and Judy in their squad car was just to keep female viewers intrigued enough to want to watch the planned sequel! Disney didn't make it to the top because they didn't know marketing.

Very nice shipping double date between Nick and Judy and Annie and Hare.
Most people like to ship Nick and Judy because we worked together as partners and the problems even though they are both Prey and Predator. I do like Nick and Judy Ship it does show funny, heart-warming, or depressing moments between them and worked together to find the solution.

Simple answer: Because they are really cute together whether just as friends or romantic. They're just really cute together.
A slightly more complex answer: There are many types of answers to this question depending who you ask.
Some simply just love to ship others together or love to see characters get a romantic happy ending of sorts, others just don't like the idea of canon characters being paired with OCs or feel like the two have chemistry that works as both a friendship and a pairing
For me personally I like the two as both a pairing and a friendship. I'm not against them being shipped with an OC, so long as an artist/writer doesn't put them with a Mary Sue, try to make the other act in an OOC manner about the relationship or try to make the relationship overly complicated.

i agree with you on this, i only see them as close friends and nothing more.
When nick told judy "you know you love me" im 100% sure he meant it in a friendship way; i do that with my friends too whenever i poke fun at them i tell them either "you know i love you" or "you love me theres no denying it" i always mean it in a friend way, never in a romantic way and they do the same to me in return.
While i dont hate the ship (i simply dont like it) i find it a little silly to ship two characters that are clearly only friends and nothing more because of one line they say
