Description
The historic Myeur Conference concluded with the announcement that Kerburg would finally and officially merge with her sister nations, the Federal Republic of Nuleaf and the United Socialist States of Welbokia, to form the provisionally named Jopland Nation. While the moniker is subject to ongoing debate, one thing is already certain: naval defense can be neglected no longer. With the annexation of the twin archipelago nations, Jopland now faces the prospect of seeing to both the islands themselves and the stretch of ocean separating them from the Kerburg mainland. Fortunately, with three long-synergistic economies now operating as one, that challenge is rapidly becoming more and more attainable.

To that end, a fleet standardization program has begun in order to grow the middling flotillas of the constituent states into a world-class blue water fighting force. Leading this charge is the new Eurypterid-class destroyer. These picket ships, though certainly formidable on their own, are intended to work in concert with a yet-to-be unveiled cruiser type.
