The most recent coloured picture of my dragonself to date, done in a little bit different style as before. I like the face, I like Deira in general, but I don't like the tree. It's crappy. I don't draw many trees...Related content

Wie hast du das Bild coloriert, mit Buntstiften?
Insgesamt finde ich den Drachen ziemlich interessant, weil er sehr exotisch aussieht. Durch die fluffige Mähne auf dem Rückenkamm und das raubtierartig aussehende Schuppenmuster bekommt er zudem etwas Paradoxes. Einerseits wirkt er raubtierhaft und gefährlich, andererseits aber auch irgendwie weich und einfach nur zum Knuddeln.

Aquarellstifte und Gouachefarbe.
Nun ja... ich bin nun mal ein einziger wandelnder Gegensatz, also ist es kein Wunder, das auch meine Repräsentation auf dem Papier diese Eigenschaften vereint.

der drache erinnert mnich irgentwie an eine mischung von leopard und vogel...und das auf einem baum XD

If you did this in photoshop, and want critique/suggestions, send me a note...I've found some awesome & fast ways to make treebark a lot more realistic. Or so I fancy. I love the dragon(self?)--that is really amazing.

Oh, it's not photoshop, it's completely real media. Watercolour pencils and gouache. And I know the tree looks disgusting...
