Okay two important HCs that will show up in this Comic a lot:

1. Star Warriors can instinctively kinda sense/feel one another, when very close by.

It’s very weak, can be covered by strong emotions, injury, and requires some amount of focus. No one really knows why this is. It only happens over very small distances with most of them. It makes Star Warrior turncoats like Yamikage absolutely lethal.

Likewise, most Star Warriors pick up Nightmare’s close proximity by the feeling of dread that follows his magic. Again, we’re talking very short distances. Chances are, if you’re that close to Nightmare anyway, you’re already pretty much dead. But it does mean that Star Warriors are naturally drawn to the presence of Demon Beasts.

MK is strange in that he can pick up on Nightmare’s magic across slightly longer distances. And apparently Kirby, too. Currently, they don’t know if any other living Star Warrior has this ability.

2. Tying in with the above one. Not all puffballs are the same “class”, there is a reason that MK and Kirby seem more powerful than the other puffballs in the series game and show wise. There is only one single physical trait that will give it away to an outsider.
