Print for Kawaii Kon.Taken from a screenshot and was originally done for my friend's birthday. Because I got so many requests, I modified it and made it available for a print at the Kawaii Convention~
It was fun finding out how many BBC Sherlock fans were in Hawaii~!

I love the expression Sherlock has on his face,it seems he is a bit sympathetic, something which we don't see every day- awesome work too!

The palette is lovely. I don't recall the colours being so warm in the show; did you change the temperature for the painting?

Yes, the screenshot itself was a rare moment where it was a tad bit on the warm side, so I pushed it a little further since it was started out as a birthday present to a friend. I tried to keep some of the cooler tones on the right and tried to limit the warmth to Sherlock. I can't seem to recall where I got the screen shot though D: I remember I was looking through Google images and it happened to catch my eye, but I can't recall if it was altered by the person who originally posted it or not. D:
I really do like the cooler tones that you see in the show though- hopefully when I get more free time in the summer I can make more fan art >w<

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I like the cool tones of the show as well--it has become a signature look, I think. It's always a pleasure to see alternative visual interpretations in fan art, though.

Yes, Sherlock has such wonderful compositions and colors~ I can remember really great scenes from each episode where the lighting, composition of the shot and colors were just awesome~ The 2nd season was fantastic as well! Thank you for taking the time to look at my picture ^-^
