But when i think about it..
If Pinkie changed the past and Twilight lost her leg somehow, then Twilight wouldn't remember any other past then the one she lost her leg in. She wouldn't notice anything unusual.
Only Pinkie could notice that something is different because in her timeline she'd remember the "true" situation before she traveled in time.

Well, some time-travel theories go with a "ripple-effect". A change in the past doesn't affect the present/future IMMEDIATELY, but after a short...well, time, I guess. Kinda like ripples in a pond. A stone dropped in the middle of a pond (Pinkie changing the past) doesn't immediately reach the edge (Twilight's leg is now robotic).

I see. But wouldn't it still affect the memories of everyone but the time traveler? Because when you change someones past you change his memories too.
I'm no expert in that topic, it just seems rather logical to me.

of coerce it would. that is the most logical theory by far, but unforchantly its the most boring to the media, because you can't take it back. movies and say, comics that involve time travel use other more reversible (or funny) ones like this. hope that helps.
