Storm Hawk character dump...maybe I should be practicing poses and backgrounds more XD
I was surfing art related articles and there was one encouraging digital artists to 'shade boldly' by lowering opacity for coloring. Thought I'd try, not sure if I like using it that much, especially for cartoon-ier characters (as opposed to you know, a more realistic illustration style) but it's not horrible, in fact I like the way it can make hair look.
as an aside; colors are taken from series, opacity is 52%.
You may notice little numbers next to the doodles, 1 is the first attempt at that character, 2 is the second (and usually when I'm trying to make them look more series like, Radarr gives me the most difficulties....)
