And why does she try to scare them away? I doubt it's in some sort of supernatural job description she has to follow, and I bet it can get lonely being around a dead place with no one to talk to. Unless she didn't like people. Then she may need to see if she can get one of the locals to help.
But I think she's a little too much like Casper.
