Description
The XC-519 is a typical cargo aircraft. Small turbojets added for STOL capability. Main feature of this design - large sofisticated wingtip tank. It's shape I picked up from one old windtunnel report. Report stated some improvement in L/D ratio. Tanks may used for jet fuel, cryogenic fuel (such as liquid methane) or electronic warfare equipment.Related content
