I'm excited for Skyward Sword to come out. What better way to celebrate than to make a female Link.This was quite fun to work on.

I honestly don't think nintendo will ever give us a female Link but just for those of us that like the idia ( like me) and for those who don't let's look at the posobilities. A female Link would eliminate the whole love interest between link and zelda that so many zelda fans have created in art and fanfictions. (no lebians please) Link is a well deefined charecter and to replace him even just switching the gender would be rejected. ( how many girls would hate to have thier fantacy love hero destroyed?) On the other hand A female Link would give us a new twist to the game that at least some gamers would at leadt cosider and could realy like. (Gandorf was just beaten by a little blond girl) As for how this could efect the Link and Zelda relatianship the dabate between Link and Zelda pairings and Link with another girl is all just fan based and the games never show any real love relations with Link. (Ruto doesn't count) So if Link is a girl then what could his relatianship withZelda be? If Link was a realy close freand then theres no broblems and If say Link was Zelda's younger sister (Zelda is the next in line for the throne after all) then (princess) link would be fighting not just for hyrule but for her family and it would be cute to have Link and Zelda as loving siblings. And then there's the reincarnation of the hero of time. What if by chance a proper male hero could not be found and the triforce of courage chose a young girl (who sead girls aren't couragious) it isn't unthinkable. All in all I like the idia of a female Link (guess that's why I added so many good points about the topic) Great art by the way.Link is cute as a girl.

their might be still be pared but then zelda and links would be lesbians theirs pairings for all characters even brother and sister so those changes would still make no difference and it would be so cute

A weird idea popped into my head for a Zelda game.
What strangely came to me was that you don't play as "Link" but instead this "Link" has been married to Zelda, and the main character now the daughter of the two, who eventually has to go off on her own adventure.
At first I thought of it being the son of a current Link, but then I thought if you were gonna change up the story that much already, then you may as well make it a daughter. Mix things up.
One cool gameplay mechanic would be that since Zelda is usually gifted with magic powers of her own, magic could be obtained on a much greater scale playing as this character. Most Links have a large variety of weaponry, and will only find a spell here or there throughout the course of the game. Ocarina of Time had only 3 spells, Link to the Past had 3 spells (unless you count the rods.)
Anyway this character would be able to make use of the magic of Zelda and the cunning quick mastery of weapons that Link has.
