You have no idea. I originally had them just connected to a ring in the middle, but it didn't hang the way I wanted that way so I had to accept that they'd overlap and shift.

Crossing pieces are always a pain. And it never helps me that I'm OCD about things being symmetrical (or at least balanced on both sides). It looks really nice though. Good color scheme, good balance, and good closures (always the defining mark of a good mailler).
