I'd suggest watching further, its a super good and progressive show w super great characters and storyline B^0

i seriously hate Grumple campa.. oops. sorry, but hey! atleast that's a better name for a character and show infact i think Grumple Campa would tower over Uncle grandma as a show. it actually sounds like class3000 compared to Uncle grandpa ó.0

omg same I'm definitely not a fan of UG and its brand of humor. SU kinda made it tolerable in the crossover ep but it still sure was something i probably wont watch again

the episode or the show UG? another thing i hate about UG is that they go so low that they actually use tiger clip-art. that's not a kids show, it's a web series!

both B^) I've tried to watch a few episodes of UG because I don't like to dismiss something entirely from how it looks but...yeah
It tries to do what The Amazing World of Gumball does in that regard but they fail pretty badly at it imo :^T

I think one of the reasons i never wanted to watch Steven universe is likely because the style reminded me some of The amazing world of gumball. i hated their use of multiple artstyles. and likely some other things but i cant quite- (and just so you know, right now im talking about the amazing world of gumball)

Steven Universe is pretty consistent with its style (and I'm also a personal big fan of it, since it incorporates a lot of my favorite style elements), usually slight variations are just because of different storyboarding artists (which is common in most cartoons, especially shows like Adventure Time and FlapJack. AT definitely had a hand in how SU looks now, since Rebecca Sugar was a storyboard artist on there). The style consistency is a little wonky in the first few episodes, but it definitely evens out around episode ~10 I'd say? It's hard to make an estimate since its been a few weeks since I did my rewatch
I actually really like how TAWOG uses multiple styles pretty seamlessly! As someone who also does a lot of graphic design that show is super pleasing to the eye in that respect (its also a v funny show imo, but the style of the show is definitely not for everyone, I know I was pretty offput by it when it first started airing)

Honestly, the shows i can list off that i really 'dont like' to 'really hate' id say(as far as i can remember)

-The amazing world of gumball
-Flapjack
-Adventure time
-Regular show&Unclegrandpa

Why didnt i add Steven universe? because honestly, i took a look at 'A story for steven' and it seemed kinda nice, shows more personality and the backstory :3 i think i'll take a look ^^

I like most of those shows (with a exception for UG, and im pretty indifferent towards regular show) but different strokes for different blokes

Awww yeaaa B^))) and definitely watch Steven Universe in order. SU isnt an...aimless show? I guess is the term I'm looking for. it has a narrative and doesn't really do wandering without purpose like AT or Gumball does (Story For Steven is pretty far along in the series (tho technically a season 1 ep even though it aired in season 2) but you also don't get much of a glimpse of how the Gems come along character wise in it without the larger context of the series)
