The Victor Emanuel Monument in Piazza Venezia, Rome is a huge and magnificent monument dedicated to Italy's first King Vittorio Emanuele II. Despite its Roman, classical style, the monument was only completed in 1925! Taking 40 years to complete.It also houses the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War One.
