Ozzie had been particulalry uneasy that night. It was pretty normal for her to be nervous, especially during long trips in new places.

It's not like Haku could blame her; if anything, he was really the one who could understand her best. "Shshsh, it's alright Os." He stroked her neck, letting her nuzzle against him. "I'm sure it's nothing serious." He casually glanced in the distance as he saw a small group of riders venturing inside the woods.

Suddenly, quiet stippy steps caught his attention; when he turned his head around, Ona was already almost out of reach.

He generally wasn't that handsy with people, but he knew that most of the time, the only way to stop the girl from doing something was to physically keep her in place.

"Where are you going?"

"S-shmoke braek?" The dullahan barely resisted the urge to roll his eyes: she wasn't even trying to lie to him anymore.

Haku slowly pulled at the scarf, putting Ona and Tolouse back in place at his side. "Not tonight, young lady."
