Very old art from 1990. I remember drawing this poster in a single sitting without looking at any references or photos. I KNEW these robots, dammitMy other interest, of course, was Jack Kirby, so this idea seemed natural.
(I am a MUCH better artist today, by the way.)
UPDATE! I saw the Cinematic Titanic shows in Raleigh and Greenville, and THE WHOLE CAST SIGNED A PRINT OF THIS. (Trace Beaulieu was the only one who looked at it. "Gruber" was there, and he actually TALKED to me!)

I can imagine IDW making an MST3K comic series (hey, they revived Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack in the form of comics). I imagine it would be the same as the show, except Joel and the bots would riff comic books. On the subject of this art, it's great! Doesn't look a day old!

This is amazing, you should've sent it into Best Brains when the show was still running. It's also awesome that you did that all without looking at pictures of the characters. Great composition by the way.
