I think thats the reason why Ikuto

I disliked him because he's too perverted for my tastes. I don't get why girls fall for it. At the same time I pitied him because of his family issues.
Ironic as Utau is my favorite character and I know she's his sister...but I think Tadase (and some others) is a much better match for Amu.
