Description Almost finished with my logo now. I added the thorny frame in part to give it some length, but also so that I could incorporate part of the style of jewelry that I make. Originally I was going to make it more complex, with items that represented a few of the mediums that I work in, but it was way too busy, so I settled on just having jewelry represented.

I love this design! So unique and nicely composed! Makes quite an effective logo, I think.

The detail put into the magpie itself is amazing alone but the swirls around it really bring it together. Not to mention the gems hanging from them. Every detail in this piece makes its perfect

Thank you The funny thing is, the Magpie part started just as a pencil draft I was sketching while eating breakfast a couple weeks ago. I decided to practice inking it with some new pens in order to get the hang of using them and just ran with it.

Wow that's AWESOME buddy! Love it, so cool Also, I think it works really well like this, more detail/complexity might have made it too 'cramped' or busy.

You know what would be cool, if you ever do another version, would be if he were perched on a tendril of the frame, just a thought

Oooh, you're going to hate me for this but on my screen you can see the texture of the paper around the magpie which stops abruptly where you've cropped it Darn, silly bright screen that never goes dark enough haha

But anyway, is truly awesome, I especially love the stylized style of the thorns And the Magpie of course!
