Description   They returned home, but Alex wouldn't leave his brother's side. He was practically carrying his brother home. He had to help his brother. Josh trailed up the stairs slowly. He was so upset and felt dumb for making his brother feel bad.

"Alex, do we have any matches...."

   "Yeah, why?"

  "I need them."

Alex ran quickly downstairs and grabbed the matches from the kitchen. He rushed back to their room and handed them to Josh. He didn't want him to hurt himself, so he stayed at his side. Josh pulled the haunting black box out. He removed the piece of glass and lit a match. The box began burning.

"I...don't want to hate myself anymore." He picked up the piece of glass and threw it against the wall. It shattered to tiny, harmless pieces.

"Josh...." Alex got down on his knees and knelled next to Josh. "I'm here for you...it...it's okay to cry."

Josh's face became red, tears fell down his cheeks, and cries could be heard throughout the house. Alex grabbed him and held him so tight. Josh's body was almost convulsing. "Promise me you'll stay with me forever...please...Alex. Please!"

"I'll always be here for you, Josh. I won't leave, I promise."
